Book cover for alternate history speculative fiction book. The protagonist is a young man in his early 20’s who is an inspector in this empire, late medieval time period. His uniform is a blue cloak and tunic with a badge that has a blue glass eye set in a brass circle. He travels with his horse named Butter, a pale bay mare with a yellowish coat. I am looking for a stylish and realistic rendering of the both of them. I would like to use photos of a relative to base the face on (see attached) but make him clean shaven. Place the character outdoors. Like a grassslands background, think of him as a solitary traveling monk type. His blue cloak should be plain and utilitarian,. There should not be excess fabric and the color should not look as if it used modern dyes. Try the horse in a side view facing the book spine with the characters right arm draped over the neck. That hand should have a simple ring visible,
