How much does a designer get paid?
As a designer, your earnings from a given project depends on:
- The monetary value of the "place payment" (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc)
- The monetary value of the "participation payment"
- DesignCrowd retains a standard 15% of all project budget, place and participation payments from customers.
If you are awarded a "place payment", once the handover has been approved by your client, you'll also receive an e-mail confirming this along with the specific amount you'll be receiving (including the currency) and your payment details.
To ensure that there are no delays in receiving your payment, you should always make sure that your payment address is correct and that your account is verified to receive the prize money.
