Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for a simple but amazing logo for our brand www.realmeneatplants.com.

One we could use on triathlon gear, tshirts, bumper stickers, and other print oriented things primarily, but also on twitter, facebook, and the website.

You can see my feeble attempt at this on the website itself, I do like the green and black, but am open to some options that would look good on white background as well. Perhaps even orange, or green, really open to anything you can come up with.

Goal is to design the logo, perhaps then a secondary icon/graphic.
