This sounds like a great project - I am working on some designs for you now.
In regards to how to upload the WordPress site, this can be a little tricky in some ways. Basically you will need to install WordPress on your site, then install the theme files (these steps are easy), but then also need to set up a database which underpins the WordPress install. That can be a little tricky for the un-initiated, but I can do this for you. There are other ways to get your site up and running which I can run through with you if I get the job.
Also I would be most happy to form an ongoing relationship to perform site ammends, distribute newsletters etc moving forward.
