Logo Design Brief

This project is design a new communication consulting company called Digital Edge Communications. Two versions of the logo are requested (one to be used on a white background and a reverse option to be used on a dark background). Details are below. I will review concepts and answer any questions daily.

Company background: This is a boutique consultancy focusing on communication strategy, digital media, and health communications. Because it is small in nature, marketing materials focus on communicating the expertise and personality of the lead consultant. Additional details about the company: www.digitaledgecommunications.us

File formats: For the final product, both logos should be provided in JPEG and EPS formats.

Target Market(s)

The target audience includes large national U.S. organizations, including the Federal government, who are looking to work with a company that is professional but also more modern, trendy, and current than they can be.

Requirements

Must have

• UPDATE: Because this is a small company, the logo should be less formal than those used for large companies. Please do not use all caps. Instead I prefer more informal fonts.
• The logo should communicate: professionalism, energy, fun, modern, trendy, social media-savvy. I prefer blue as the primary color of the logo but don’t mind the use of other bright colors. I strongly prefer the flat design aesthetic. The logo should NOT emphasize the word “edge” or use it as the basis of the design.

Should not have

• All caps, formal fonts, emphasis on the word "edge"
