Business Card Design Brief

I am looking for a slick/simple design for a logo and business card, for a music Producer/Mixer/Engineer.

I'm based in Tokyo, Japan and I help my clients polish up their creation to major radio/TV status. My clients pay me for my taste, sense of balance expertise and creative direction/

Design should give impression of seal of quality, professionalism, and enthusiasm need some sort of a logo like design for "doloop productions".

Please don't include music notes or instruments or anything musically related and anything samurai or ninja or too much Japan in them on the design.

I like clever, slick stuff that's not too obvious.
I also like a smooth gradation type transition. My favorite color is deep dark blue/
