Logo Design Brief

I am developing a site where wargamers can meet and interact, find games, host tournaments, etc.

I generally like relatively simple, flat designs, but i have no immediate color preference.
The site is called skirmish, but the website address is skirmi.sh. I want the logo to include the name, and if the design allows it, the "." could be part of it - so as to make it clear that the website address is skirmi.sh.

Other than that i have no clear idea what i want the logo to be.

Tabbletop wargamers. Mainly men aged 15-45.
