Logo Design Brief

We just purchased 3 Apartment Buildings in Lexington KY. They are within walking distance of one another. So we are thinking that it would be cool to have three different logos (one for each property) but in some way tie them together: be it shapes, colors or text. So people would know that they are all owned by the same company.
