Logo Design Brief

This is for an outdoor sign for a salon that needs to attract both female and male customers. I don't want it to be too feminine, The Sign must say Nadia's Salon. I would like somthing that is not too elaborate. I am mostly open minded but I DO NOT like logos with faces or combs/brushes in them but if you think yours will be the exception then go for it. I DO like a scissors incorporated into the logo but doesn't have to have a scissors . I also like maroon or wine red colors.
