Character Design Brief
We want to create a charater set for a series of educational apps.
We want about 8 different characters with a demonstration of front, side and rear profiles.
This is a concept contract. The accepted designer would expect to be contracted further to develop his creations in greater depth and if interested to provide ongoing work in the same vein for a series of applications. Animation experience would be useful but not required for this concept contract.

Requirements
Must have
- We would like a shared style that accomplises the following
-simple to animate
-not overly stylised ( ie a dog obviously looks like a dog to a toddler)
-faces that can show different emotions
-each character with a basic primary colour (eg green frog, red crab, orange monkey, blue fish)
-animal characters from different environments that are common ( eg frog, fish, snail, lion, dog, toucan), ie there are not too many lemurs and merecats that young kids will recognise.
Should not have
- -complex / difficult to animate designs, simple clean artwork with solid colour/fills
-overly stylised characters with 'zany' avantgarde looks. We want recognisable characters that are appealing to parents and children.
