Wanted to make sure I read the briefing correct, you want the attached image of yourself (either image) incorporated into the logo along with the name of your company?

Thanks

Hiya - are you open to a scetch style ?

basically like an arty outline - some negative space

@Modine Design

Yep

No, sorry about the confusion. I wanted to include pictures of myself to give you an idea of how I wanted you to design the "curly girl". I wanted it to be sort of a caricature (maybe just the curly hair/glasses, maybe a profile, maybe including the camera) incorporated into the logo. I do not want the original photos used in the design at all. Please let me know if that is still confusing.

I was thinking black font for the CurlyGirl Photo part and pink for the "curly girl emblem" or maybe a blonde/orange looking one but I''m open to everyone''s ideas.

Oh ok no problem - i see where your coming from, could you explain a little more about "why you love Photography"

the process/challange and/or actually catching one moment ? emotion ? im searching for some information that i can maybe use to make you an iconic watermark, also to acompany the name.

Thanks

You already said you love the style of the Artist, why is that ?

Music influencest ect - anything even if you write a block text of rambling things you love can help us, im very keen to understand and get into one simple icon/wordmark for you.

Thank in advance

Why do I love photography? Because I am visual and passionate and in awe of so much of what I see around me, because deep down I am introverted and photography is a good means of self-expression, because I am an artist who can''t really draw or paint, but can transform what I "see" through a camera lens, and because I''ve always been aware of how fleeting life is, and I feel compelled to document its richness, and what might be easily lost, hidden, or missed.

I enjoy many different musical genres, but recently I have been preoccupied with discovering the obscure. Finding musical artists that move me, but haven''t necessarily received huge attention has sort of become my side-hobby. Elliott Smith, The Shins, Blind Pilot, Beach House, Loreena McKinnett, Eva Cassidy, Tom Waits, Greg Laswell, Lyle Lovett, William FitzSimmons, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Regina Spektor, Sarah
 Jaffee, Lissie, Morphine, & Simon & Garfunkel (the big exception) come to mind right away. All of them are good because of their commitment to be themselves and because of their willingness to show vulnerability-kind of what I''m interested in when it comes to photography, too!!

I think the negative space idea is good. And in the main description, I shouldn''t have mentioned being opposed to a cartoon graphic. I actually think that a quirky, interesting graphic of a curly-haired girl with glasses would be just what I''m looking for.
