Logo Design Brief

We need a revamped logo for our healthy snack box company based in Singapore. We deliver monthly healthy snack boxes and need a new logo to better convey this message. Our business model is inspired from Graze (UK & USA) and NatureBox (USA). Our current website is http://guiltfree.sg. And our current logo & iconography is attached.

Although there is nothing overtly wrong with our logo now, it has been mentioned to us several times that it does not quite convey our core business focus in healthy snacks.

Your job is to revamp our logo! Everything is fair game: the logo itself, our colour scheme (currently sky blue), whether to retain a font-based design or elect a completely different type of logo design, etc.

We want to communicate innocence & a guilt-free nature in our logo. One way is to retain our halo icon. This icon drew inspiration from Innocent (UK). You can find their trademarked logo at their website: http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/.

Alternate ways like drawing a typically "innocent" mascot (see our favourite designs submitted) are encouraged!

We are creatively-challenged minds, that's why we're handing the reigns over to you! Feel free, go wild! We ourselves have no idea how, but are sure you'll be able to help us better convey our message of delivering healthy & delicious snacks in our new logo!

The only request that we make is for you to be aware of our direct competitor here in Singapore. Their website can be found at: https://www.boxgreen.co. Do try to keep our new color scheme / identity distinct from theirs!

Here's how we will carry out this project: once we see several drafts that catch our eye, we will guarantee payment. We will also actively identify the draft designs we like and provide follow up feedback as we go along.

Further opportunities: after we have settled on a new logo design, we will require designs for: packaging boxes (yes, the same boxes that go out to customers every month!) & promotional flyers. The winning designer of this project will get first priority on these extension projects which launch immediately after this one is complete.

Requirements

Must have

• Please try to incorporate our tagline "snack a little better".
• We need a major revamp/overhaul, not a minor touchup! Too many submissions that are simply revisions of our current logo, please note that we will automatically eliminate these submissions!
• Please incorporate some element of a mascot in your design. Designs without some form of mascot or relatable character (either an animal, person, angel, etc) will border very close on being eliminated!

Nice to have

• We want to communicate an element of innocence. One way to do this is to incorporate a halo in your design. The halo should be positioned in context (look at Innocent's angelised-halo for an example at http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/). We could do a similar concept, because we are afraid that a halo simply by itself might like a 0 (zero)?
• If you look closely at our current logo, what we tried to do was to convert the letter 'i' into an angel, and then place the halo above it. Another potential idea is to combine this halo with our subscription box business model and somehow have the halo above a box? Another idea could be the packs that we use to package our snacks (see photo attached).
• Alternatively, this effect can also be achieved without a halo. Look at some of our favourite designs for an example.
• We like to see other ideas, or just simply improved executions of these ones!

Should not have

• New logo & color scheme should not be overly similar to our direct competitor in our local market. Refer to their website at https://www.boxgreen.co
• Also, if you opt for a halo-based design, halo icon should not infringe on copyrights of Innocent (UK). Their website at http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/
