Good day,
Before I offer any type of design submission, I would like to try to persuade you to alter your approach to your criteria by offering some basic design advice. I hope you will consider this information in the spirit in which it is presented, but I will be blunt.
If you came to my office with this request , this is the conversation we might have.
A concrete pumping truck is a very unique piece of equipment and, frankly, unrecognizable by most people - as opposed to, let's say a fire truck.
Your desire to show a graphic of this equipment in your logo will do nothing to help identify what it is you do. Not all logos, no matter how cleverly designed, can possibly illustrate all that represents your business - which I believe you would like to promote. It is difficult to portray your business with art.
With that in mind...would you put a graphic of a fire truck...on a fire truck?
Perhaps not the best example, but I think you see the point.
Also, I find it odd that folks want to promote "Hat City" over "concrete pumping", as it is your activity that separates you from all the other "Hat City" businesses that exist - and there are quite a few, aren't there? Some of them actually use a hat in their logo - which I believe is absurd and the equivalent of sixth-grade graphic design.
I hope you will consider these comments as constructive, positive and enlightening.
Best of luck,
