Logo Design Brief
A simple one or two colour logo for our cafe and Restaurant 'The Quills' in Rochester, Kent. Our name and identity takes inspiration from a 13th century book called the 'Rochester Bestiary'. In particular a picture of hedgehogs collecting grapes on their 'quills'.
We have a picture/name logo that will be used as artwork on the weba nd in store, but need a simplified graphic version for branding
A graphic showing just one of the hedgehogs with grapes stuck to them and possibly use of the tree/plants shape as shown in the background of the image. A simple design is preferred but I want to keep the feel of the original artwork in the way the hedgehog and possibly trees look. But cleaner simpler lines that will work well in graphics/engravings etc
Updates
Note: The colours I can select in the design brief section are limited to those in the DesignCrowd interface which aren't as dark as I would probably want in the final design. The colour inpiration for designers should come from the artwork provided including foreground and background palette used in the original manuscript. So dark greens, gold, brown, copper etc

The look of the hedgehog in any design should take note of how they look in the artwork provided. I don't want a generic cute/cartoon everyday hedgehog but one that clearly links back to the artwork in the brief
