Web Design Brief

Are a web designer? New to DesignCrowd? This contest is for you!

We want you to redesign DesignCrowd's designer account home page. We're looking for bold and innovative ideas to make this page a useful and fun experience for you and your fellow designers.

Only new registrants this month are eligible to enter this contest and win prizes.

Your task:
* We want you to put your web design skills to the test and re-design the My Account home page ("Overview") on DesignCrowd to make it more functional and engaging for designers on DesignCrowd.
* The page you are redesigning is here: http://www.designcrowd.com/my-profile.
* Your design should allow for the same functionality as the existing page, though you don't need to replicate the same elements (buttons) or the same menu structure.
* Your design must fit with the branding of the site.
* You must provide a brief outline of what changes you made and why when you upload your design
* 1 submission per designer - make it your best work!
* Pls see "Must haves" for requirements.

Deadline:
* Submit before 12:00am 1st September UTC. Pls convert this deadline to your local timezone and take note of the local time and date

Prizes: $1,000 to win
* First prize for the best design is $700
* Second prize is $200
* Third prize is $100

• Your design must adhere to our quality standards to be eligible to receive a prize
• Submissions must be created in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator or Photoshop)
• Your design must fit with the branding of the DesignCrowd site.
