Logo Design Brief
Infinite Horizons Safaris needs a logo for its website, brochures, and travel kits. The company is based in Namibia (in southwestern Africa) and offers guided safaris and self driving tours in some of the world's most exciting terrain.
The current logo does not do our website justice. I've provided a screen shot of the draft website home page. Please do not pay attention to the colour of the header on the web page nor to the look of the header. That will change once we have a new logo.
Namibia has a diverse landscape that features two major deserts, (the Namib - one of the oldest in the world, and the Kalahari), various passes and mountains (dry and rocky), a coastline on the Atlantic that is famous for its shipwrecks (known as the Skeleton Coast), world-renowned Etosha National Park and many other wildlife reserves where visitors can enjoy all of the African species, and many tribal cultures including the Himba who still live very traditionally herding cattle and goats with their bodies painted in red orchre.
We would like our design to communicate the expanse of this country. We do not want green colours to be used as our country is very dry. Sand colours, browns, dune colours (please go online and look at the colours of the Namib and Kalahari Deserts (very orange/rust). Maybe combined with sky colours?
We will add the tagline "We know every mile of Namibia", but I don't want this actually incorporated into the logo design as we might change the tagline down the road.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hello Everyone!
Thank you for all of the designs. We've received many that are really good and appreciate everyone's efforts and participation.
We have one design in mind at this point but are waiting for the senior partner in Infinite Horizons Safaris to review all of the logos and to give input. We need another 3 days before a decision is made.
In the meantime, I'll provide feedback over the next few days to everyone who has submitted logos so you know where you stand; I was unable to do so today and for that I apologize.
