  • Animation length can''t exceed 30 seconds
  • Animated GIF ads must have a frame rate no faster than 5 fps
  • Flash ads must have a frame rate no faster than 20 fps
This is taken from the google adwords ad requirements as a guide. Yes stock photos are fine. I would prefer static, but open to animated to try. Maybe you can do some animated and some static?
