Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a local family run Early Childhood Education Centre. The centre provides a posituve environment that focuses on caring, educating and developing children from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is in a small town in Australia next to a large park with lots of trees. We want the name Parkside to stand out and the logo, colours and brand will be represented in all areas of our business so needs to be adaptable for signage, vehicle, advertisement, staff uniforms, children t-shirts and hats. As the brand grows we will most likely use the same brand for other child care centres we open in future. We want people to recognise the logo, know that it represents Parkside Early Learning Centre and can identify with out brand personally.

The tree represents the park like surrounds and the apples represent learning, health and nutrition. These symbols we want to keep.

• Tree and apple symbols need to remain
• The name Parkside needs to stand out
• The colours and logo need to flexible as they will be used around the centre on the walls, pictures, uniforms, equipment, bowl of apples by reception.
• The brand represents:

• Loving and safe environment
• Developing and educating children
• Professional
• Family values
• Need logo versions that will work with the logo only, with the name only, name and address, name and address and phone number

Nice to have

• If it did get put on a background with a similar colour the logo might need a secondary colour scheme, a bit like a sports team back up uniform when they play a team with the same colour.
