Brochure Design Brief
Check our www.cruiseretirement.com. Company Name is "Cruise Retirement" and the brochure is to be named "Retire in Style".
We are seeking a brochure that captures the essence of the idea of living aboard a cruise ship in retirement therefore must encompass not only cruising but also retirement living, therefore we're promoting "a lifestyle better than living ashore in a retirement village".
Brochure will be around 20+ pages though there will only most likely only be around 6 pages of actual templates needed which can be used interchangeably plus a front and back cover.
Some pictures on the brochure will take up full pages with maybe a caption so these other pages should be pretty quick.
Must have great presence and "feel" about it.
Friendly, cheery brochure with bright colours.
Must "look a million dollars" as the market we're targeting is very selective and we're competing in a very competitive market, retirement villages where our clientele is investing large sums of money in their retirement and they are basing their decision on whether to trust us on possibly only this brochure.
This is a new project that will launch on television, radio, pamphlet and brochure in the next 6 weeks.
Work on a brochure I'd been doing attached. Don't just want a repeat of this brochure. This is to provide you with various pieces of text to start the brochure, not to copy the design, which I think is antique and needs completely redoing.
Updates
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: At present we have only received a few designs and at present none of them are truly suitable to what we're after or require quite a few changes in terms of creativity to even come close to what we'd be expecting from professional graphic designers.

Requirements
Must have
- We are after classy and sophisticated, not gaudy and cheap so the design must look formal yet modern and eschew the virtues of contemporary and exotic and a higher standard of retirement living rather than "bright, gaudy, cheap and a quick buck".
Our company is designed to provide sophisticated and practical living arrangements for people that are looking for comfortable, practical yet stylishly different in terms of the elegance and lifestyle that people would normally expect for the price of standard living arrangements.
Brochure when completed must be sent in an editable format rather than just static.
Must have a section for pricing comparison between costs of living in "Own Home vs. Retirement Village vs. Cruise Retirement" for comparision of costs.
Must also have a second comparison with the same titles though this is a "Features/Facilities Comparison".
Must use only royalty-free photography.
Must NOT use pictures of GIANT cruise ships. The ships we're providing our clientelle are mid-1990's ships therefore have a capacity of around 800-1000 capacity, not like today's MEGA-liners that hold 2000-5000 passengers. We don't want to mislead our clientele.
Must NOT use pictures of ships with any names or logos on them (to forestall the possibility of copyright and trademark infringement).
