Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our artisanal doughnut concept called "Fabulous Dough". Fabulous Dough is a stylish, artisanal concept specialising in innovative filled doughnuts that are creative in their flavour as well as gorgeous in their presentation. Our main appeal is how funky our flavours are, the novelty of having a syringe inserted in our filled donut for customers to 'self-dispense' the filling, as well as the option for customers to either choose from our signature doughnuts, or create their own DIY donuts.

Our background is in fine-dining, and thus this donut creation is a more fun, accessible concept, but still doesn't detract from an underlying air of class and style. Flavours of donuts would move beyond the typical sugar glazed, simple flavours to things such as a deconstructed black forest filled donut with tobacco smoked chocolate glaze with sour cherry compote filling and white kirsch meringue crumble as the topping. We're taking donuts and making it classy.

Our corporate colours are black and yellow, with yellow being the accent colour on either namecards, packaging, or the interior design of the place. Our interior would also feature some wood accents to give the place warmth and an 'artisanal' feel, without being too cold. The message and the feel conveyed by the logo should be representative of what we are: stylish, premium, and individualistic. In essence its more quirky, London vibes than hipster. Perhaps we can go with a modern crest/insignia design, incorporating illustration of syringe(s) into the logo (e.g. as the coat of arms)- please refer to examples I have included in the attachment.

I have attached some images of how we see our interior to be like, as well as some pictures of how our donuts would look like.
