Magazine Design Brief
Hi,
We are looking for the design of a front cover+ editorial page +contents page template for a new and free A5 size magazine that has a focus on local businesses in the community.
The target market for the magazine is a community of local residents and business owners. It must be a magazine that local businesses want to be associated with and the reader must be interested to see more when it lands on their doormat.
The design must give a friendly and positive vibe, yet needs to represent the reliability and professionality of the businesses that are found inside (e.g. carpenters, florists, accountants, restaurants etc).

We would need to gain full access to the template as it would need monthly updating/adjustments.

Hi,
Thanks to all who are and have been working on a design for our magazine. Things are looking very promising.
I would like to add that it would be great if we have a header and a footer in the editorial pages where we can add a message. Please also make sure that pages are numbered and the design is in portrait.
I made some samples in paint for myself some time ago, which may be useful to share after all. Obviously the design is awful and colors used in the editorial page in particular are way over the top but it does emphasise it can be a bit playful. It is a b2c magazine and not b2b.

- A color that should be used is #CC0066 color hex (blue 102, red 204), which is used in the logo together with white.
1/3 or 1/2 of the front cover needs to be kept free for advertorial space.
Nice to have
- On the front cover there could be a banner/shield in the top corner stating "NEW" and somewhere there should be room for a text like "Great offers and stories from businesses in [name area/village]".
