Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a brand new VC hedge fund firm. The name of the firm is "Venturepoint Capital". The key buzzwords for this are elegant, understated and highly professional. I am not looking to use bright colours but am open to careful use of colour to obtain a professional powerful look though colour is by no means a necessity (black whites greys and silvers are still fine if that is the direction you wish to choose). The general designs here will lead to follow on projects on business cards soon after and stationary/website further down the line. Pls do not hesitate to ask questions should you need more information. The most important thing here is a feel of ORIGINALITY, PRESTIGE and POWER.
