Logo Design Brief

So I'm looking for a good logo for a new business which specializes in locating, capturing and if necessary rescuing lost pets, usually dogs. The website address is lostdog.co.il which is also the business name.

Requirements

Must have

• COLOR. Color is nice, but not strictly necessary!
• So here's my idea: I want a badge similar to the "Orange City" badge I uploaded, but redrawn so that:
• * Instead of an eagle on top we have a dog with big ears (instead of the wings)
• * Instead of 3 ribbons of text, just 2. The ribbons can be a little smaller in terms of vertical size. I'll give text later.
• * The circle in the middle should be a magnifying glass containing the pawprint I've uploaded. The handle should extend down and to the right.
• * Instead of leaves on the sides, maybe pawprints walking up the sides? I'm not sure about this - I'd need to see how it looks.
• As a background around the magnifying glass, a street map of a city (I'll give an exact image later).

Should not have

• Remember that this is not a startup - it's a small business that uses some online advertising to sell a real world service. This is not a high tech business.
