Logo Design Brief
We need the logo that will become the cornerstone for the corporate branding of an Arboricultural Institute. We currently operate an Arboricultural (Tree Care) contracting company that does tree pruning, transplanting, removals etc, Arborist consulting, tree climbing gear sales, and industry training. "Institute of Tropical Arboriculture" will be a new branding that takes over the gear sales and training aspects of the current business; and in the future, research and industry guidance, licencing and representation. ITA's current status will simply be a trading name of the present company, but the intention is for it to grow and function as a proper institute under a not-for-profit structure; hence the logo should reflect that ambition. The colour green would seem an obvious choice for inclusion, but is not mandatory. A tropical tree (eg. not an acorn or other temperate plant) element such as a leaf, palm frond, whole palm, branch, tree, etc would be required somewhere. This could be in the logo or part of the font element. The final design should communicate trust, learnedness, expertise, be aspirational with a hint of academia.
Target Market(s)
Other tree care companies and profesionals, as an aspirational body to get membership to. General public, as a trusted source or tree related knowled
