Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo for my furniture business. I am a furniture designer/ maker and have recently started a website: www.benpercydesigns.com

I mainly work with wood and I would like my logo to portray high quality, modern and contemporary designs. I make one-off commission pieces and my furniture is on display in several galleries in Australia.

The logo will go onto my website and I would be looking to possibly use it discreetly on some of my furniture pieces as a makers mark.

Sorry to be broad but I am very open to your interpretations of the brief. I am swaying towards having a creative use of the initials BP or BPD with the text Ben Percy Designs for the logo. I haven't seen a successful use of creating the logo using inspiration from my furniture or relating it to that idea as of yet. I don't like the direct use of a photo in the logo but would be interested to see if a sence of furniture could be reflected in the design. If you think it could be done well then I would love to see it.
