Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for the company I am about to establish. I am a photographer focused on maternity, newborn, child and family portraits.

The name of my company is Minna Lampinen Photography. I would like to keep the logo fairly simple but still I would like to add a small design element into it. I will use the logo mainly on my homepage which I am currently building. Additionally I will be using the logo as watermark on my images.

My idea about the logo is the following: the logo could consist of three elements - my name (Minna Lampinen), my initials (ML or MiLa) turned into a signature type of design element OR a more graphical design element and word Photography underneath. My name and the word Photography could be written with different fonts - one more simple and one a bit softer / rounder. Further either my name or the word Photography could be written with capital letters (perhaps rather the word PHOTOGRAPHY). The initials could be placed between my first and last name or around the name. I would also be happy if I could use the initials as a separate design element.

I would also like to mention that I have been pondering between two company names Minna Lampinen Photography and a more simple MinPic. If you like, you could also choose to design a logo for MinPic. Seeing the logo design live might help me make the decision between these two names.
