Web Design Brief
                            Hi All,
This is a favor for a friend so I'm not expecting brilliance here, I need a simple website designed for a restaurant and patisserie called "Les Diables patisserie".
The pages need to be:
Homepage
-
- Some welcome text
- Picture of owner (attached)
- Small Gallery, with a link to more images
- Latest blog entries
Blog
-
- Standard blog stuff
Gallery
-
- Standard gallery stuff, categorized into sections i.e. wedding cakes, birthday cakes, restaurant etc.
Menu
-
- Simple tabular layout of the current menu
Contact
-
- Map, address and contact form
As you can see it's pretty basic, and I'm sure that you can use a template online as a starting point.

Ok, here's the issue. The owner of this patisserie has already got someone to create his logo and it's not great :-). Unfortunately, he also has a sign made with this logo, so you need to use it in some form. But I would prefer it if you could just use the part that says "Les Diables" and somehow, make it better :-).
Also, we only have the .jpg version so its not easy to work with. Though they did send through an .ai version, but it looks incomplete.
Les Diables, obviously translates into English as "the devils", but what I understand from the owner is that he NOT after a dark sinister design, but more a "cheeky devils" look. Hence, the logo contains those awful devil clip art things, which he wants to use around the site.
Basically, this is a simple brief regarding the context, the challenge is making the site look cheeky, while still remaining somewhat classy.

Update:
Colors should likely be shades of red, to go with the devil theme, and the fonts can be unusual and flamboyant or Gothic i.e. not times, arial etc. But please pick some from google fonts. I'd like background imagery and not so much use of white space, as this is more of a brochure site than a web application.
I did a quick search on restaurant sites and here's a few I like:
