Logo Design Brief

We require a unique cartoon character logo for a company called "Naturally Nutty". We sell various nuts to online customers who are price sensitive. I would like to see a cartoon character (possibly in the shape of a recognisable nut) that is a little crazy (nutty). I would like to play on the word "nutty" to mean both "nuts that you eat" and "crazy or lost the plot". Crazy does not mean scary or threatening. Crazy as in crazy low prices. The cartoon character has gone nutty to be giving such low prices on nuts. Maybe have a nut dropping out of the sky hitting the cartoon character on the head and make him look dazed. I would like to have colour but keep in mind there will be times the logo will just be black and white (ie. faxes).

Requirements

Must have

• Cartoon character of a nut. Probably make it look long like a peanut or some other long nut so it gives the impression of being healthy and not a big fat round nut. Must be a likeable cartoon character.

Nice to have

• I would like to see a few other nuts incorporated into the logo. Possibly having a nut drop out of the sky and hitting the cartoon character on the head, seeing stars or something to help give the impression he has gone nutty / crazy.
