Thats a really good point, I've been on here for some time now and a lot of briefs arn't clear, for a web design I usually go for a project around $300 anything more usually means they want a howl website, I could be wrong though! to create a web design is just a design right?

We made a few updates to the brief to help clarify what we are looking for. Here is a high-level summary:

1) The site's main focus should be on selling ONE bottle of wine at a time at group rate. The design should not be for a general wine store that sells a variety of different wines.



2) The site should capture the group buying concept as this is what differentiates our site from the others. Visitors to the site should get the sense that they are part of a special community that is getting a great deal because they are buying the wine as a group. Also, a meter or better yet an animation should be used to indicate if the tipping point has been met for a sale. We'd like to see some creative ideas here.

Just to clarify, the design trumps any sort of coding. In other words, a really good design without any coding will win over an average design with no coding. That being said, if a designer can do the entire job (coding + design), we would be even happier.

At this point ,we are really looking for some creative designs and some feature that makes the site special.
