Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new international school to be established in Hakuba, Japan. The school will cater to the students aged 12 to 18 and have full boarding facility.
Hakuba is situated in the beautiful Northern Japan Alps, just hours away from Tokyo. Throughout the seasons, the expansive valley awards everyone with exceptional terrain for pursuing a variety of sport and leisure activities, from skiing, mountain biking, trail running to climbing.
Our school will focus not only on academic excellence, but also on outstanding sporting and outdoor activities as well as innovative, dynamic and creative use of technology.
Our ethos will be similar to those of Aiglon's (Aiglon College - http://www.aiglon.ch). We also like the logo of British School in Tokyo (http://www.bst.ac.jp).
Our vision is to inspire and support students during the early stages of their learning journey; encouraging them to become motivated, life-long learners.
