Logo Design Brief

We would like to freshen up our tired logo. We are a team of project managers, undertaking project management works for local government as well as the private sector. We have no preference to colour schemes, however would like something to complement the black, grey and orange of our sister company which is property maintenance and construction company. Once we can agree on a logo, we will then be looking at business cards etc. Current logos have been attached. We are looking for a new design for the "Hulston Thomas Project Services" as well as the abbreviated version "HTPS". Many thanks in advance!
