Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our equestrian supplies business, Classic Equestrian. We are based in Auckland, New Zealand and import top end, high quality made to measure riding boots and apparel from manufacturer Cavallo in Germany. We are looking to expand our range of products and brands to meet the needs of New Zealand's equestrian sportspeople.

Target Market(s)

Age 15-65 with majority being 20-40 years. Equestrian sports people, professionals, horse trainers, national reps, competitive children & teenagers mostly in the fields of Dressage and Showjumping. Horse enthusiasts looking for premium riding equipment.

Requirements

Must have

• The logo must be simple and describable
  The logo must be memorable
  The logo must be effective if reproduced without colour (in black & white)
  The logo must be scalable and versatile

Nice to have

• I have added the logo of 'Cavallo' below- this is the company who manufactures the products we sell. It would be nice (but not crucial) to take inspiration from their design and colour sceme.

Should not have

• Logo should not be based on current trends
  The design should not use stock art or cliche horse motifs
  No unicorns, pegasus or mythical horse figures thanks
  No embellishment, we are looking for clean simple lines.
