Hi Parul,

This is my first time on DC - no idea what to expect.  How about initially all designers can submit one or two sketches and if I like what I see I''ll guarantee payment in a few days time.  Or if you can direct me to samples of cartoon images in your portfolio, I''d be happy to guarantee based on a couple of good cartoon images.

Thanks

can we submit only 2 drawings as samples? so that our efforts will not be wasted in case our artworks will not be chosen.

Hi everyone,

I''ve only seen the two contributors so far but already I like what I see, so I''ve made the payment guaranteed.

Thanks @sdrum - you''re right on the mark, although a couple of points to consider:
 - You don''t have to use a consistent brush width for the whole image, just make sure that the outline of any fillable areas is thick enough.  You can use thinner lines for fabric folds / textures / etc. so long as it doesn''t create new fillable areas.
 - Just a few areas will be a little fiddly to tap on smaller screens.  In particular small rocks and shoe straps in the daniel image and splashes and feet in the moses image.

@mralvar:
Good, I like these sketches too, it''s a good proof of concept, but they won''t work as finished pieces - thicker lines and also try and avoid small closed areas (toes, fingers).  Either open them up to larger fill areas or make them bigger.

@graphitext:
Submit as many images as you like - start with one and I''ll give you feedback on it, submit a few more if you think you have a chance. Before the competition closes, however, I''d like all images to be completed and submitted.  Now that the payment is guaranteed, the more the merrier! :)

I''ll try and give you a guide along the way as to styles that work well.  At the moment sdrum is on the money, but it''s anyone''s game.

Thanks for participating!
Paul
