Logo Design Brief

We run a small ecotour business that is situated in a remote area on the west coast of the south island New Zealand. Our 1.5-2 hour tours vary a bit, but all include personalized informal commentaries (by us/owner operated) on the native bird life, plants of the lagoon (NZ's largest unmodified - very pristine!) and of the rainforest waterways we travel up. Tours are run at a very slow speed (5 knots) and focus on biodiversity, beautiful landscapes (Southern Alps tower over the rainforest backdrop) as well as native and migratory bird species - highlight for most people is to see up close the beautiful white heron but not our sole focus - many other birds as well.

Must have

• colour, image (either photograph or picture) of bird/plant/water/mountain combination to depict the biodiversity of the region

Nice to have

• would love to have an image that depicts our biodiversity - Okarito is a special place in New Zealand - our landscape is from mountains to sea and our area is the wetlands and lagoon waterways.
• Our current logo is a line drawing of the historic wharf shed from where we leave - not sure if that should still be incorporated? I will include a file showing that.
• The colours we are looking at could be a combination to depict the area - water, rushes (golden) sand, trees, sky
