Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our Camera department drinking club. We work on big budget feature length movies, and like to relax after work with some nice bevies. We call it 'TCC' which stands for 'Thirsty Camera Club'. I need to makes some t-shirts, stickers, and maybe engrave the logo into some Copper Mugs as well.
-As we want to display our logo at work, it is best that there is no blatant drinking imagery (beer bottles or mugs are a no no). I like a retro look, like these examples of old beer labels.
-White on black/ black on white.
-My boss' last name is Lavender, so it would be great to incorporate a sheaf of Lavender. Wheat or barley looks similar, like in the examples.
