Logo Design Brief
Hello,
I'm looking for a logo that can primarily be used as a watermark for my photography, but that can also be adaptable for business cards, a website logo and other business stationary. I'm still an amateur photographer, but the types of photography I'm most interested in shooting are (in order): fashion/glamour photography, wedding photography, landscape/nature photography. The target audience for these three types obviously differs, but I'd be more interested in appealing to the first two than the last one. The target audience will primarily be younger women (18-30). The style I'd most like to capture with my watermark is modern and bold, but not over-the-top bold (I'm still looking for a sense of elegance and sophistication)
I'd like something in color (I'm partial to red with black & white, but that is not a requirement) that would work equally well against light or dark backgrounds. This photographer has examples that illustrate what I mean:

Unless incorporated in a creative way, I'm not interested in incorporating traditional photographic motifs like cameras, lenses and aperture blades.
I've attached a few photos of mine that the logo should work equally well on.

I'd like to emphasize that ideally I'm looking for something more than just a wordmark, unless it's outstanding. Many of the submissions I've received thus far have been a variation on what is currently on my website (which I did myself) and what I'm looking for from all of you is something with a little more creativity. Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Thanks to everyone who has submitted designs so far! I've been a bit overwhelmed with how many excellent designs have been submitted and while I've been trying to provide feedback to some of you - I'd like to provide feedback to everyone before this project closes to allow you the opportunity to resubmit.
I plan to provide feedback to everyone who has submitted a design thus far, by tomorrow (Fri - Aug 30th). The project will close on Monday, Sept 2nd and I'll make my decision after that.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I promised feedback by August 30th - I provided that to some of you, but not to all. I'm doing that as we speak and am going to extended the deadline by just 2 more days to accommodate those that wish to resubmit or provide requested edits to designs already submitted. This will be the last extension - I promise! Thank you everyone for your patience - my sincerest apologies.
If you haven't yet submitted a design to my project and would like to, here's some advice - go edgy with your design. At this point in the game, a hail mary might do it for you. ;)

Thanks everyone for all of your submissions! I'm a bit overwhelmed, but plan to focus on further narrowing down my top picks later tonight and then soliciting feedback from some friends. Then I'll pick the winning design. If anyone would like to submit an edited design or a new one altogether, you have about 6 hours to do so!
