We need a redesign for a flyer that lists 10 reasons to use our software application LockDown Browser. We're seeking a pretty simple but professional and easy-to-read design. We are an educational technology company; the audience for this piece includes educators - faculty, administrators, instructional designers at colleges, universities, and school districts.
One-sided, 8 1/2 x 11" portrait orientation, full-color. (2-color is ok too.)
The flyer includes:
- Header text
- Header design - flexible as to whether this includes a photo, background image or pattern, or just some design elements to go with the header text
- 10 "Reasons" that are numbered. Each has a headline plus 1-3 sentences.
- Closing call to action, logo, and website at bottom
This flyer is posted online and may be often printed by our customers, so we prefer not to have a complex background or anything that wouldn't print well on an inkjet printer. Full bleeds are also discouraged for this reason.
Content is attached in a Word doc.
We prefer modern but clean sans serif fonts - not too square or stout, and not super "techie" looking either.
Our website should not be used as a design or color reference, unless you look at www.respondus.com/lockdown. (Though, this doesn't need to incorporate the exact colors from that webpage either.)
If you use a photo at all, it makes sense to use one of multiple students (not children, but high school or university students) each sitting at their own computer in a lab or classroom setting. They'd be taking a test so it shouldn't have papers, pens, phones, etc; a teacher looking over their shoulders; or people laughing with them.
