Logo Design Brief

We are a small aircraft maintenance and family run business. We have a rich family history in aviation (flying instructors, pilots and maintenance). We service small piston aircraft (single and twin engine). We have an old logo which we designed many years ago but since purchasing the business from our father, we are looking to develop a new fresh logo and build the business a website and complete some marketing and promotions. The logo is the first step for us. Our current colours are navy, red and grey and we'd like to stick with this (attached) The logo should reflect our product which is superior workmanship on aircraft and should be modern and 'catchy'. The logo will then be used in stationery, website, uniform and signage across the business.
