Logo Design Brief

Buist Electric, located in Byron Center, MI is looking to update our logo. We have been in business since 1964 and are fast approaching our 50th anniversary.

We are a commercial and industrial electrical construction firm - we install electrical components (from outlets and switches to high-end motor control drives in industrial plants). We work for general contractors who hire us when they build new buildings.

We've done the electrical construction on small office buildings to large, hi-rise hotels and hospitals. Check our website out to get a feel for our company.

While I love the look and feel of our website, I don't love our logo.

I'm looking to give it a more modern look - not so much corporate looking, but a clean, sophisticated update is necessary.

As you will notice, or logo reads Buist Electric, with the tagline of "raising the standard". We're changing the tagline to "employee owned".

The color green (Pantone 7484) is important as well, but would like a splash of color somewhere - no lightning bolts, please!!
