Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new clothing company based in Sydney Australia called Billy Sixes. We're all about surfing, motorcycles and youth culture. The logo will be used for our website and also printed onto shirts and other garments.
The attached file is a very rough sketch of a design we've thought up. In this design, the "B" & "S" are connected and are much larger than the other characters to form much of the logo on their own. The "y" and "i" are also connected to one another. Lettering style similar to "Coca-Cola" logo.
Feel free to make variations to this design or to provide a new design completely if you have any fresh ideas! I"m open to the idea of a lettermark logo including only "BS" or an emblem logo as well. The logo is to be as simplistic as possible, black and white only.
