App Design Brief

There is a current app in the App Store (worldwide) and Play Store (worldwide) called myOpinion (with an owl logo). The UX needs to be redesigned to make it more visually pleasing.

The requirement is to build a UX that is suitable for both iOS and Android - i.e. consistent look for both platforms. The design is to span the variety of sizes available from smart devices - phones and tablets. The layout as it stands is portrait only, and a secondary design to encompass landscape is wanted.

You would need to download the app to get a feel for all the functionality - there are 3 visible forms (currently) and a hidden form, that will be used in the near future - this hidden form will look similar to the main (first) form.

To get full functionality you need to do the following:
Go to the Options page
Toggle the top slide
Click on UNREGISTERED
Select a state/territory

I know this is a bit non-intuitive - in the "real" product these steps are automated - but for this release the user gets to choose.

Once this is done - the other button(s) appear in the top left of the screen - and data is available to be displayed.

The current forms are included in this brief. The Options screen will ultimately not be showing all the current data, only the lower slider (or other indicator) and the associated version and copyright notices. The hidden screen is much like the main screen - showing the name of the bill and information pertaining to that bill - there needs to be a button (or action site) to toggle between the main and this hidden screen.
