Packaging Design Brief

We would like to change the artwork on our paint buckets. We are looking to simplify the logo as well as make it more eye-catching and promote that it is a high-performance roof coating. We are rather flexible on the layout. We would like our blue "Kool Kote" writing to be similar and keep the snow on the top of the letters. We would like the roof and temperature removed. Other than that we are open to any ideas. Our product is a roof coating designed to withstand weathering, water penetration and reflect sunlight therefore keeping temperatures inside structures much lower. Attached is a picture of our current bucket as well as a new logo that we recently started using.

Must have

• Our "Kool Kote" lettering, the words "High-Performance," the business name "Southwestern Paint," the words "Acrylic Elastomeric Roof Coating," the Energy Star logo, and proven for over 60 years. Emphasis on premium quality, top-of-the-line, best ingredients, best coating available etc.

Nice to have

• The flags incorporated into the design, some sort of way to convey reliability and still be eye-catching, more modern look, simple without too many different colors for mass printing

Should not have

• The house and roof with the temperatures that is currently on the design
