Logo Design Brief

It's about Veterans who served and suffered through their service. We are a non profit supporting Veterans with PTSD, TBI, Anxiety Disorders etc.
all-inclusive 5-day therapeutic Retreat for Veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Major Depressive Disorders, Traumatic Brian Injuries (TBI), Anxiety disorders and many other ailments the Veteran experienced during their service. We serve Veterans of all Wars. Our primary coverage areas to date are Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Our goal is to be nationwide by 2020.

Six different groups of ten Veterans and their Families (two Family retreats) will be selected to attend a retreat to Camp Eagle near Rocksprings, Texas at a cost of approximately 36,000 dollars per fiscal year. Our goal is to redirect the mindset away from suicide and substance abuse, educating the Veterans and their Families providing them with opportunities to spend quality time together in a therapeutic outdoor environment.

Therapeutic activities include:
Attending daily mental health conferences held over four days. Veterans will be participating in recreational outings such as; fishing, zip lining, Sherpa trekking, Geocaching, and Guided Hikes, nightly campfires along with many more outdoor activities.

Set Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound (SMART Goals) utilizing cognitive therapy. Provide therapeutic games and activities. Emphases on the importance of using cognitive therapy techniques such as; Activating events, Beliefs, and Consequence (ABC worksheets) for PTSD. Participate in therapy sessions and learning about intervention methods. PE gives our fellow Veterans a feeling of self worth and being a part of a team again.
