Logo Design Brief
I am a developer in Washington, DC. My latest project is a historic alley garage. Built in 1920 as automotive storage for a wealthy family living on Capitol Hill. We will be converting the simple brick structure into 2, large residences, priced at $1.7 million.
Things to know:
*Adolf Cluss was the architect of the Smithsonian Castle on the National Mall as well as the nearby Eastern Market.
*The alley was recently named after Adolf Cluss
*The alley was historically an industrial alley.
*Our homes will be a modern take on the industrial history of the alley and the garage.
*I would prefer a logo that is not overtly historic looking. I'd prefer a modern take on something referncing the historic aspect, or maybe not at all.
*my company, OPaL, LLC has won 12 national awards for design and architecture. Learn more about us at www.opaldc.com

Requirements
Must have
- see project description
Nice to have
- I like the use of color in logos, however, that is not a must have.
Should not have
- Nothing overtly historic looking. The homes will be modern, therefore the appeal needs to be a modern take on something industrial. That said I hate to give artists specific direction. Artists are best left to their own creativity.
