What does 'Mum And Dad ' mean

"Mum and Dad" is the term used for businesses and companies that are independently owned and run. These types of businesses are much smaller and are often regarded as offering more personalised service than larger companies.

This is the type of message I want conveyed by our logo, it needs to be personal, hence the desire to have us in it. but also we need to look trustworthy and reliable "like a mum & dad" but also importantly it needs to be fun, because we are dealing with holiday makers.
