Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for a Database consultancy called Straight Path Solutions. We provide services to customers using SQL Server databases on premise or in the cloud. Our flagship offering is Senior DBA on Demand - a program where a customer is in a long term relationship with us and we provide a monthly retainer service.
We will ultimately use this on the website as a logo but also want this to be able to go on polo shirts, trade show booth skirts, etc so it will need to look good printed on a black, navy blue, or grey polo shirt/fabric.
From the logo I also want to create a favicon so I'd like a graphical element to the logo also.

Requirements
Must have
- Firm name (just "straight path solutions") text and an image. Versatility to work on a business card, web logo and polo shirts/table skirts.
Nice to have
- - The word "Solutions" deemphasized a bit and on a second line is a nice element.
- - The graphical element that conveys a straight path. Want to show that this is the straight path to success. Maybe through noise or confusion and to a straight path.
- - I like a cleaner/crisper font. Some modern elements would be good but don't want overly rounded or flourished fonts.
Should not have
- Note the word "Straight". Design image elements shouldn't be curved/wavy/lines.
- I don't want a play on the first letters for the graphic portion. No "SPS" play. Would rather have a clean and crisp text of StraightPath on one line or Straight Path on one line and a smaller Solutions on the line under. And a simple graphic.
