Logo Design Brief

We need a certain vision and idea we have for a logo design to be made a reality.

NMA is an electronic music startup act based in Wakefield, QC Canada started by Alex Serre.

All the ideas and inspirations are in the attached .zip folder. I tried to number them in order so that they correspond to how I lay out this description, I apologize in advance if there is any confusion and please don't hesitate to send an email at any time for clarification.

Basically the idea for the logo is an upside down equilateral triangle with a line going through the middle of it horizontally [or slightly lower than the middle of it]

(The example is called "1. Triangle" in the .zip folder)

The colour of that image should be something around Cyan/Aqua (but perhaps with a higher contrast or brightness) , over a black background.

Just to give you an idea of the kind of vibe we're going for check out "2. OWSLA. 2011.." in the .zip.

We would rather have an easily identifiable, simple and modern image that is very symmetrical and high resolution than a complex design. If that makes sense...

We need a font that reads NMA that matches the vibe of the image as well.

Here are some fonts that appeal to the team and Alex himself:

- Browallia New
- Cordia New
- Doctum
- Gautami
- Latha
- Mangal
- Tunga
- Vrinda

Vrinda being the favourite. If you feel so inclined, use your judgement on what font matches best. (Whether it's one that is listed above or one that has a similar vibe to the ones listed above)

In terms of image to background ratio and thickness of lines and stuff we really like what NRML (Ottawa) did with their logo. (3. NRML triangle)

The goal here is to have a very simple almost "futuristic flag" look.

Again, resolution and quality are the most important to us.

We would need a copy of the triangle image by itself, a copy of the font that reads NMA by itself with the same colour and background, and if possible a copy with NMA center aligned above the triangle image.

  Size, Contrast, aspect, resolution etc...
  
  (Our apologies if we aren't using the correct terminologies)
  
  
  The stroke that goes through the triangle horizontally should be slightly longer than the one is the provided example.
  
  
  
  **IMPORTANT**
  
  We need the necessary files that make it possible to lay these images over photos, as well change the size and colour of these images for the purpose of making posters, album covers, etc... in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator. (industry standard files)
