Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo for a surveillance system company called Guardian Geko. We build surveillance systems for our clients. We would like the color green to be incorporated but you can mix the theme if it is more appealing. But if you absolutely require a color scheme green/white/gray. We would like the logo to incorporate a gecko and a shield.

Alternatively, i was thinking we could have a shield with the text GG inside the shield vaguely displayed (G then a backwards G as if part indents in the sheild) and a gecko wrapped around the outside of the sheild
