Logo Design Brief

Need a logo for a new website - a kind if social network for craft breweries and home brewers where the can connect with "internet of things" sensors to help the brewing process. The website's name is Bruuw.com but the logo can omit .com. The logo should use a colour pallette with few colours with an organic feel (green brown orange etc.).Other ideas are of course welcome!
The sketch I uploaded, is just omething I made myself, but I think it could be nice if the hop flower could be included in any way (PS. the flower used in the sketch is something I found online, so please dont't copy it! :) ).

• Simple and proffesional
• The logo should have both a textual version and an emblem that can be combined or used separately. (Like for instance facebook, both the full name and the "F"-logo)
• App icon/badge

Nice to have

• To somehow combine brewing and "Internet of things" in the logo-design while still keeping the logo simple would be awesome.

Should not have

• Character-logo/cartoon-look
