Logo Design Brief

Need a modern logo for a young building designers new business.
We design new homes and complete final construction plans etc and are looking for a very simplified logo to be used within the title block of the plans, on all stationary, uniforms etc.
We want the logo to be versatile in its use, having the ability to be used in different colours and background applications (e.g. designed with a clear background).
I have attached examples of simples designs that I have seen lately but not limited to these ideas.

Requirements

Must have

• Logo and slogan on the front of business card only... other details on the back.
• Recognisable at a distance / first glance
• Feminine, free-flowing, elegant look

Nice to have

• the "JHL" as freehand writing but must be clear
• simple or mono tone colours.... want to have the option to place logo on different coloured backgrounds (e.g. different coloured paper when printing documents) or to invert the logo so that it is a different colour on a black background.

Should not have

• very small text
• multi colour
• Please no graphics
